A trailer and character intros for a kids' series

What the work had to do

The videos had to introduce a world and its characters to young viewers, and give each character a moment of their own.

How we approached it

• Hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation for fluid, expressive character movement.
• A separate intro video for each character, so each one can be shared on its own.
• A storybook map in the trailer that sets up the journey at the heart of the series.

The takeaway

Character intros give a series more to share than a single trailer, and they reuse the same designs.
